The Tema branch of the IHRMP, Ghana, led by its President, Mr. Eric Bose Duker, has paid a courtesy call on the newly elected President of the Ghana Employers’ Association (GEA) and a former President and a Fellow of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners (IHRMP), Ghana, Mr. Dan Acheampong.
The visit was to congratulate the President on his successful election, strengthen ties with the Ghana Employers Association, and to discuss matters of mutual interests. During the interaction with the President of GEA, the delegation assured him of the support of the IHRMP to help him succeed in his new role.
On his part, the new President of GEA, who is also a former President and a Fellow of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana expressed his delight and gratitude for the visit. He deemed his new role as a call to serve Ghana and revealed his commitment to advancing the GEA active engagements with government, the IHRMP and other social partners towards promoting industrial harmony among other interests in Ghana. In that regard, he encouraged members of IHRMP, Ghana to continue to work hard to help lift the image of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners to advance the course of HR practice in Ghana.
