Become a Chartered HRM Practitioner – Enroll Today

The Professional Certification Programme is designed to provide professional certification for practising HR Professionals and training for polytechnic and university graduates who desire to practise HR in organizations. The HR function has changed dramatically and has expanded beyond its previous focus on operational and administrative activities. In modern organizations, the HR practitioner is expected to add value to the business by designing and aligning HR strategies, systems, and policies with business goals and strategies. Value addition HR practice requires the possession of professional HR knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes which come only with professional training.

It is against this background that the Professional Certification Programme (PCP), a four-level programme, was designed and launched in September 2002.
Minimum entry requirements for the PCP is an HND in any discipline from a recognised tertiary Institution

Students who complete the four levels are awarded the designation Chartered Human Resource Management Practitioner (CHRMP).

Tuition is available in Accra, Tema, Takoradi, Kumasi, Sunyani, Tamale and Ho.

Students also have the option to apply as private candidates.

Entry Requirement:

Level 1: HND or First Degree in any discipline from a recognized tertiary Institution

Level 3: First Degree or Masters in HRM or an equivalent degree

Exemption: During initial application process, students apply for all exemptions sought in Levels 1 and 2. Exemptions are processed only at the point of initial Registration. Students placed on Level 3 have exemption fees waived.)

Payment Terms

Private Candidates pay all fees upfront.

Tuition/Regular Candidates pay student subscription plus 60% or more of tuition (and exemption fees) prior to commencement of lectures. The outstanding balance is paid within two months. Payment deadlines are indicated in admission letters.

Exam fees are paid during exam registration periods in October and May. Fees are non-refundable.

Fully paid-up students will receive learning notes, ID cards and past questions.

Award of Certificates/ Result Slips

Professional Certificates are awarded at the end of Level 3 and at the end of Level 4.  However, at the end of every exam, the student is issued a result slip.

  3. Receive online registration voucher within 24 hours.
  4. Follow prompts to complete an online application.

 Documents needed to complete application. Soft copies of:

  • Passport – sized photos (white background).
  • Original certificate.
  • Original transcript.
